Home on Furlough After Serving in England 2 Years
Corporal Gerald Anderson is spending a 21-day furlough, here, after spending two years in England. For the first time, he saw his two-year-old son, Gerald, Jr., when he arrived home from overseas.  His wife, Betty, lives at 1012 Doty Street. Corporal Anderson also has a sister and other relatives living here.

The Eau Claire soldier will report to a rest camp at Miami, FL, following his furlough. He entered the service on January 9, 1942 and received his training in ordnance at Salt Lake City, Utah.
