Corporal Anderson entered the service on October 31, 1942 and received his training at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD; Mississippi Ordnance Plant, Jackson, MS; and Camp Forrest, TN.
Corporal Gordon E. Anderson, 1211 Main Street, is a member of an artillery repair section at an Army ordnance base in England. A special section dismantles and reassembles captured German guns, while another processes, reconditions, and mounts battle casualty guns.
