Entertains With Home Made Unit
A 7TH AAF HEAVY BOMBER BASE, in the Marianas-- Technical Sergeant Harold J. Anderson, Eau Claire, WI, operates a homemade broadcasting station which brings entertainment to the soldiers at this Seventh Army Air Force Base in the Marianas.

Sergeant Anderson and two other members of his Seventh Army Air Force Bomb Group built the tiny station from spare parts, obtained a record player, and play music to the men from the time the Armed Forces Expeditionary Radio Station goes off the air until bedtime.

Sergeant Anderson, radio operator-gunner of a Seventh Army Air Force Liberator, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Anderson 316 Fourth Street, Eau Claire. He attended Eau Claire High School and entered the Army Air Forces in 1940.
