Ralph W. Anderson

Lieutenant Ralph W. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Anderson, Hillsdale, has been stationed in Hawaii since July, according to word received by his wife, Mabel Smithrud Anderson, formerly of Eau Claire.

He entered the service in May 1942 and received training at Camp Shelby, MS. He then received officer training at Fort Monmouth, NJ and was commissioned December 31, 1942. He was stationed at Camp Crowder, MO, before going overseas.

Lieutenant Anderson is a graduate of the teachers college here and taught at the Fair Oaks School in Eau Claire County.
