Richard E. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, Strum, has arrived somewhere in India, according to word received by his parents.

He entered the service on March 17, 1943, trained for the Infantry at Fort Jackson, SC; later being transferred into the Army Air Forces at Miami Beach, FL.

In the Air Technical Service Command, he was stationed and trained at Gulfport Field, MS; Scott Field, IL; Normoyle Field, TX; and Kelly Field, TX.

His brother, James, is serving with the Army somewhere in Germany.
