Lt. T. Anderson Assigned to Teach Instrument Flying
Lieutenant Truman E. Anderson, son of  P. C. Anderson, Route 5, Eau Claire, and husband of the former Marjorie Ann Hempy, 1804 Hodgeboom Avenue, Eau Claire, recently reported for duty and has been assigned as an instrument flying instructor at Bryan Field, Texas.

Lieutenant Anderson attended the University of Wisconsin. He was commissioned in the Army Air Forces in May 1943, following completion of his aviation cadet training. His last duty station was Waco, Texas Army Air Field.

Bryan Field is the site of the only Instrument Instructors School in the Army Air Forces Flying Training Command. Several hundred commissioned flying officers are graduated from the course every six weeks, after qualifying as full-panel instrument pilots versed in the intricate "attitude" system of guiding military aircraft.
