|Corporal Cecil F. Ankney returned Saturday evening to Camp Howze, Texas, after a 12-day furlough spent with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ankney, 606 North Oxford Avenue. Private First Class Kenneth H. Goodell of Camp Bradford, VA and Miss Jean Wenz and Mrs. Kennenth Beisterveld of Milwaukee were also guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ankney.|
|Private Keith Ankney has arrived in France, according to
word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ankney, 314 Folsum
Street, formerly of Wheeler.
He entered service on January 19, 1943 and received training at Fort Custer, MI and Camp Anza, CA. He is serving with a Military Police battalion.
His brother, Corporal Cecil Ankney, is serving with the Field Artillery and is now on his way overseas.

Corporal Cecil Ankney has arrived somewhere in southern France, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ankney, 314 Folsum Street.
He entered the service on December 19, 1942 and received his training at Camp Claiborne, LA and Camp Howze, Texas. He is in the Field Artillery.
His brother, Private Keith Ankney, is with the Military Police Battalion and is stationed near Paris, France.
