Norman H. Aylieff

Technical Sergeant Norman H. Aylieff, 23, has been awarded the Bronze Star for exceptionally meritorious achievement against the enemy in France and Germany. He is the husband of Mrs. Betty Aylieff, 1622 Omaha Street. He has been in the service for four and a half years.

Technical Sergeant Norman H. Aylieff, 22, whose wife, formerly Betty Krantz, lives at 417 Jones Street, is recovering from a leg wound at an American hospital in England. He was hit by a sniper's bullet in action near St. Mere Eglise, France, while taking part in an Infantry attack.
