According to word received by their parents in Mondovi, two cousins, in
different branches of the Armed Forces, have met in England.
They are Staff Sergeant Arnold Becker, U.S. Army, son of Otto Becker of Mondovi, and Qm.Third Class Raymond Becker, U.S. Navy, son of Romey Becker, of the same place.
The former, who has been in the Army close to five years, has been overseas 2 1/2 years, for a time in Iceland and, later, in England.
The latter, who entered the service October 20, 1942 and received his training at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station and, later, attended a service school in the East, has recently been stationed in England and that is how the two happened to meet.
