|PVT. DONALD L. BIGNELL
Private Donald L. Bignell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randle A. Bignell, Elk Mound, Route 2, has arrived somewhere in Dutch New Guinea, according to word received by his parents.
He enlisted in January 1943 in the Signal Corps Reserves and spent nine months attending the University of Kentucky, Lexington, where he studied radio and radar.
He received his uniform in September 1943 and received his basic training at Camp Kohler, CA. He also was sent to study radio repair work at Camp Crowder, MO.
He is in the Signal Corps, Ninth Service Command.
