Robert B. Boberg

Robert B. Boberg of 1804 State Street, Eau Claire, has been promoted to Sergeant. 
A First Tactical Air Force B-26 Marauder gunner, he has been overseas three months with the oldest medium bomber group in the Army Air Forces—the group which supplied 79 of the 80 men who took part in the famous first Tokyo attack, led by Lieutenant General James H. Doolittle. 

Sergeant Boberg has flown 10 missions with this veteran First TACAF B-26 group. He has been awarded the Good Conduct Ribbon and is authorized to wear the European Theater Ribbon with one star and the Distinguished Unit Badge.
