Boetzer, husband of Mrs. Madelyn Boetzer, 515 1/2 Maple Street, is among the group of technicians from armored units all over the country to be enrolled in the armored school for a course in tank mechanics. These men will be trained for the important task of keeping the Army's tanks in fighting trim.|

Private Elmer G. Boetzer, husband of Mrs. Madelyn Boetzer, 515 1/2 Maple Street, has arrived in England, according to word received by his wife.
He entered the service January 7, 1944 and received training in tank mechanics at Fort Knox, KY. He was then transferred for training with an Engineer Combat Battalion at Camp Chaffee, AR.
Private Boetzer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boetzer, Fall Creek.
