Corporal William C. Bollinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bollinger, 324 North
Dewey Street, who is stationed at an Eighth Air Force Service Command Sub-depot
Bomber Repair Base in England, was recently commended for outstanding
performance of duty during the organization's first year in the European Theater
of Operations. He is a member of Dope and Fabric Shop, working on the
battle-damaged heavy bombers. He entered the Army on September 8, 1942 and has
been in the European area for 13 months.
