Reinhardt A. Brummund

CONDUCT MEDAL
Private First Class Reinhardt A. Brummund, whose mother, Mrs. Amelia [?] Brummund, lives on Route 1, Fall Creek, has been awarded the Good Conduct Medal for fidelity, efficiency, and exemplary behavior. He is a member of the 757th Tank Battalion, now fighting with the Fifth Army in the Apenine Mountains of northern Italy.

Private First Class Alfred Brummund has arrived in Holland, according to word received by his wife who resides at 1706 Sherwin Avenue. He entered the service on August 6, 1941 and received his Air Corps training at Chanute Field, IL, later being transferred to the Infantry with six weeks' further training at Camp Maxey, Texas and Fort Meade, MD. 

Two other brothers are also in the service, Private First Class Reinhardt Brummund in Italy and Private First Class Herman Brummund in Germany. They are sons of Mrs. Emilia[?]  Brummund of Fall Creek, Route 1.


According to word received by his wife and family here, Private First Class Herman Brummund has arrived in England. 

He entered the service in October 1942 and received his training at Camp Barkeley, TX; Camp Cooke, CA; and Camp Carson, CO.  He is in the Medical Corps.

Herman has two brothers in service, Private First Class Reinhardt Brummund, in Italy, and Private First Class Alfred Brummund, at Chanute Field, IL. They are the sons of Mrs. Emilia Brummund of Fall Creek.
