TRANSFERRED
Raymond Caton, son of Raymond E. Caton, Rural Route 2, completed his boot training on June 20 at the Merchant Marine base at Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY, and was transferred to the Advanced Radio and Officers school at Gallups Island, Boston MA.

RAYMOND CATON
Raymond Caton, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Caton, Route 2, recently received his second class radio operator's license and was graduated as a Radio Electrician from the U.S. Maritime Service Radio Training Station at Gallup's Island, located in Boston Harbor, MA. 

He is now on active duty aboard a ship of America's merchant fleet.

Raymond Caton, Route 2, Eau Claire, was graduated November 24, as Radioman Second Class from the U.S. Maritime Service Radio Training Station at Gallup's Island, located in Boston Harbor, MA.

PACIFIC ZONE
Raymond Caton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Caton, Sr., Route 2, has been awarded the Pacific War Zone Bar, confirming acting service with the United States Merchant Marine in that war area.
