Rodney J. Cobb

Sergeant Rodney J. Cobb has arrived in the Hawaiian island group, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Cobb, 524 Germania Street.

Sergeant Cobb entered the service March 21, 1942 and received his training at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas and Fort Francis E. Warren, Wyoming. He is attached to a mobile refrigeration unit.

Prior to entering the service, he was employed by the United States Rubber Company, Gillette Tire Plant, and the International Harvester Company branch located, here, at Eau Claire.

Rodney grew up on Germania Street on the north side of Eau Claire. His brother was the plant manager at Uniroyal, before moving to Detroit to manage a plant there.
