Lucian Glen Culver

Lieutenant Commander Glen Culver is spending a leave here, visiting his wife and family. He is en route from Norfolk, VA to the Pacific Coast.

Leaves for Navy Amphibious Post
Lieutenant Commander L. G. Culver left Wednesday night for a Pacific Coast port, where he will be attached to a ship in the Navy's amphibious forces.

Lieutenant Commander Culver practiced in Eau Claire as an eye, ear, nose, and throat specialist, before being commissioned in the Navy early in 1942.

He had been stationed at Great Lakes Training Station; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Newport, Rhode Island; and Norfolk, Virginia, before receiving his present assignment.

He spent a week's leave with his wife and family here.
