Private First Class Stanley M. Curry, United States Marine Corps, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Curry, Osseo, has arrived somewhere in the South Pacific, according to word received by his parents.

He has spent the past one and one-half years in the United States, recuperating from malaria and gunshot wounds received on Guadalcanal on January 28, 1942.

The other six months he spent in hospitals overseas.
