Private First Class Howard L. Daniels, 211 Sara Street, has arrived safely somewhere in England, according to a letter to his mother.
He enlisted in the Army on January 14, 1941 and received his training at Scott Field, IL; Truax Field, Madison, WI; and Jefferson Barracks, MO.
Private First Class Daniels has two brothers in the Army, Private Manley L. Daniels at Camp Lee, VA and Private Delos M. Daniels at Camp Pickett, VA.

|HEADQUARTERS, 302nd Transport Wing, France.--After
service in North Africa, Iceland, and Canada, Private First Class Howard L. Daniels,
son of Mrs. Mary Daniels, 211 Sara Street, Eau Claire, is now stationed
in France with the 302nd Transport Wing.
An electrician in civilian life for the Allis-Chalmers Company, Milwaukee, Daniels is now putting his talents to work for Uncle Sam. He is chief electrician in the headquarters of the organization.
Daniels is a graduate of Eau Claire High School and later attended the University of Wisconsin, where he studied Electrical Engineering. He entered the service in January 1941 and received his Army [**data missing**].
