Sergeant Earl W. Donais, Army Air Corps, and his brother, Private First Class Robert L. Donais, U.S. Field Artillery, had a happy reunion in Burma on October 18, according to a letter received from the boys by their mother, Mrs. Linda Donais, 416 1/2 Franklin Street. With the letter came the picture of the two, snapped on that occasion, shown here.
It was the first time they had seen each other in more than three years.
A third brother, Sergeant Elmohr F. Donais, Army Air Corps, who has been in India since February 1942, so far has been unsuccessful in his efforts to see his brothers in that far eastern war theater, having been confined to a hospital for some time on account of illness.
The meeting of the two brothers was not accidental, as each knew where the other was stationed, but it was the first time they had been able to arrange a meeting.
Sergeant Earl Donais entered the service in the summer of 1941 and was sent to India in 1942.
His brother, Private First Class Robert Donais, has been in the service since July 1943 and landed in India in July of this year.
Sergeant Elmohr Donais has also been in the service since 1941 and was sent to India in 1942.
