Charles D. Donaldson

C-46 ENGINEER
In order to pursue a course of study as an aerial engineer on a C-46, largest two-engine cargo plane in the world, Private Charles D. Donaldson, Jr., of 215 Hudson Street, has been placed on flying status at the Reno Army Air Base, Ferrying Division Installation.

This will require regular participation in aerial flight. In a position as an aerial engineer, Private Donaldson will be responsible for all maintenance and repair on a C-46, which has proved the most dependable and capacious for the carrying of military personnel and vital war cargoes in the interest of the Air Transport Command.
