Robert W. Edgar

ANTI-TANK SCHOOL
Private Robert W. Edgar, U. S. Marine Corps, son of Ralph W. Edgar, 1515 South Farwell Street, has been graduated from the training command anti-tank school at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA. Graduates have completed thorough training with all types of anti-tank weapons and are assigned to duty with regimental weapons companies.

Private Edgar, who will be 21 on November 14, was graduated from the senior high school here, where he was active in sports. He attended teachers college and enlisted in the Marine Corps last June.


PVT. ROBERT EDGAR
Private Robert W. Edgar, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Edgar, 1515 South Farwell Street, is now with the Third Amphibious Corps on Okinawa.

He enlisted in the Marine Corps on June 26, 1944 and received his boot training at San Diego, CA and then trained in special weapons at Camp Pendleton, CA.  

Private Edgar left for overseas in November.
