Richard (Dick) E. Embertson

Richard E. Embertson, today, had been advanced in rating to Aviation Storekeeper, Second Class, in the U.S. Naval Reserve, it was announced by Commodore Walter F. Boone, USN, Commanding Officer of the U.S. Naval Air Station, Alamenda, California.

The 19-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Embertson, 722 Churchill Street, Embertson entered the Navy in July 1943 and had "boot training" and attended storekeeper school at Farragut, Idaho.

Dick Embertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Embertson, 722 Churchill Street, has returned to his duties at Alameda, CA after a 15-day leave. He graduated from the Advanced Storekeepers School at Alameda and received a rating of Petty Officer Third Class, being stationed in the Supply Department there.
