PVT.  NORMAN ERICKSON
Private Norman Erickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Erickson, 201 South Eleventh Street, has returned to the United States, after being stationed in the Aleutian Islands for the past 18 months. He is now stationed at Camp White, OR.

 


Private Norman Erickson has returned to Camp White, OR, after spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Erickson. Private Erickson has been stationed in the Aleutians for the past 18 months.

Private Norman C. Erickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Erickson, 201 South 11th Street, has returned to Camp Shelby, MS, after spending his furlough in the city visiting relatives and friends. En route to Eau Claire, he visited his sister, Mrs. Clyde Ficklin, in St. Louis. On his return he stopped in East Chicago, ID, to visit another sister, Mrs. Walter Thompkins, Private Erickson spent 18 months in the Aleutians before being stationed at Camp Shelby.


Is Wounded in Action in Reich

PFC. NORMAN C. ERICKSON
Private First Class Norman C. Erickson has been wounded in action in Germany, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Erickson, 201 South 11th Street. He is now in a hospital in England.

Private First Class Erickson entered service in May 1942 and left for the Aleutian Islands in August 1942, where he served 19 months.

He returned to the United States in February 1944 and was stationed at Camp Shelby, MS, before leaving for overseas in January 1945.
