Alfred John Everson, son of Mrs. Julia Everson, 1509 Lyndale Avenue, has been commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Army at the Field Artillery Officer Candidate School at Fort Sill, OK.
Lieutenant Everson entered the service last September.
Second Lieutenant Alfred F. J. Everson, 1509 Lyndale Avenue, has been selected to attend the Officer’s Motor Course of the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill, OK. He was formerly stationed at Camp Gruber, OK.

Lieutenant Alfred Everson is now serving with the Field Artillery in England, according to word received by his wife, who lives in Mondovi.
:Lieutenant Everson entered the service in August 1942, graduated from Officers Candidate School at Fort Sill, OK in May 1943 and, later, took an advanced officers motor course at the same camp.
Prior to going overseas, he was stationed at Camp Gruber, OK.
Lieutenant Everson is the son of Mrs. Julia Everson, 1509 Lyndale Avenue.
|Mary Lou Everson, Storekeeper Second Class, has returned
to Pensacola, FL, after spending the past 15 days with her mother, Mrs.
Julia Everson, 1509 Lyndale Avenue, and with Mrs. D. A. Watson, her
sister, and Linda Lou, her niece, at Stevens Point.
Storekeeper Everson enlisted in the WAVES in August 1943 and has been stationed at the NATS, Pensacola for the past nine months. On August 1 of this year, she was promoted to Second Class Petty Officer.
She has two brothers in the service, Lieutenant Al F. J. Everson, now in France, and Private John L. Everson at Camp Roberts, CA.

|Lieutenant Alfred Everson, son of Mrs. Julia Everson, 1509
Lyndale Avenue, has recently been promoted to the rank of First
Lieutenant, according to word received by his wife, the former Miss
Bonnie Ward of Mondovi.
Lieutenant Everson entered the service on September 9, 1942 and received his training at Fort Sill, OK. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant on May 5, 1943. He arrived in England on June 13, 1944 and is now in Germany. Lieutenant Everson is a forward observer with the Field Artillery with the First Army.
