|Pvt. L. L. Farrell Dies of Wounds|
|Private Loren L. Farrell, a resident of Eau Claire until
shortly before the war, died of wounds received in action in France on
December 7, according to a telegram from the War Department received by
his sister, Mrs. Joseph Rodr of Chicago, the former Eleanore Farrell.
Private Farrell was in an Infantry division and was reported wounded November 17.
He entered service at the outbreak of war and, before going overseas, was stationed at Camp Howze, TX.
Private Farrell is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Rodr and Mrs. Ernie Bish of Chicago, Joan of Oregon, and Betty Jean [?] and LaVonne of Idaho.
