Edgar A. Fear

Among those recently completing the nine-week pilot transition training course on four-engine Liberator bombers at Maxwell Field, Alabama is Second Lieutenant Edgar A. Fear of 1644 Woodland Court.

One of the first students in Randolph Field’s newly established school for pilots and flight engineers of the B-29 Superfortresses is First Lieutenant Edgar A. Fear, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Fear, 1644 Woodland Avenue, and husband of Mrs. June A. Fear, 217 West Washington Street, Harlingen, Texas. When he has completed his training at Randolph Field, Pilot Fear will go to another Army Air Forces station to meet his crew and practice operational flight techniques before he leaves for an overseas destination.
