Clifford L. Fouser

Private First Class Clifford L. Fouser, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fouser, Rural Route, has arrived safely in England. His wife resides at 812 Graham Avenue.

He has been a cook in the Hospital Corps at Camp Grant, IL. He entered the service on December 14, 1940.

A brother, Donald O. Fouser, EM Third Class, served 15 months aboard an aircraft carrier on the Atlantic but has now been assigned to receive electrical engineering training for 18 weeks at Camp Peary, VA. He has already been at that camp for the past nine weeks.

Sergeant Clifford Fouser returned to Camp Grant, IL Friday and Donald Fouser, Electrician's Mate Second Class, returned to Norfolk, VA on Saturday, after visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fouser in this city. There was a happy reunion at the Fouser home on Motherís Day. Clifford was accompanied by his wife and baby. Donald brought a friend, S. W. Mitchell, Seaman First Class, also of Norfolk. Mrs. E. T. Long of Warsaw, IN is also visiting at the Fouser home. This was Donaldís first visit home since February 1943. He has seen action in the Atlantic. While here, the brothers were also guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wahl, 419 Babcock Street. Mrs. Wahl is their sister.
