GRADUATES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Hulda Friede received word that her son, Eldon L. Friede, Hospital Apprentice, Second Class, has graduated from the U.S. Naval Hospital Corps School at Farragut, ID and has been transferred to the U.S. Naval Hospital at Seattle, WA.

TRANSFERRED
Eldon L. Friede, Hospital Apprentice, First Class, U.S. Navy, who has been stationed at the U.S. Naval Hospital, Seattle, WA, has been transferred to the Fleet Marine Force and is attending the Field Medical School at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA.


LEATHERNECK
Hospital Apprentice First Class Eldon L. Friede, 1317 First Avenue, has been graduated from the Training Command Field Medical School for Hospital Corpsmen at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA. He will be assigned to a combat unit.

ELDON FRIEDE
Eldon L. Friede, Hospital Apprentice First Class, is now serving with a Marine medical battalion in the South Pacific, according to word received by his mother, Mrs. Hulda Friede, 1317 First Avenue.

Friede enlisted in the Navy in September 1943 and received his boot training at Farragut, ID and graduated from the Medical Corps School there.

He received further training at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Seattle, WA and, later, transferred to the Fleet Marine Force at Oceanside, CA, where he graduated from the field medical school.
