Technician Fourth Grade Paul J. Garnett of Eau Claire has returned from 31 months service outside the continental United States as a member of an engineer unit in the China, Burma, India Theater and is being processed at the Redistribution Station in Miami Beach, FL.


REDISTRIBUTION STATION
Technician Fourth Grade Paul J. Garnett, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. Garnett, Route 5, has returned from overseas service and is now being processed through the Army Ground and Service Forces Redistribution Station in Miami Beach, where his next assignment will be determined. Sergeant Garnett served 31 months as a bulldozer operator in the China-Burma-India Theater of Operations. He has been awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with two Battle Stars.

Paul (Bud) Garnett, son of Mrs. Fred Garnett, town of  [**data missing**], has returned to Miami for a three-week rest period assignment, after spending a furlough with his parents. Garnett, who is authorized to wear the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, the Pacific Theater and Good Conduct Ribbons, returned to the United States in April, after serving 23 months on the Ledo-Stillwell Road and three months with a tank unit in the China-Burma-India Theater.
