Laurence J. Hagen

Laurence Hagen, stationed at Lawson General Hospital, Atlanta, GA, has been promoted to Surgical Technician. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Hagen, 1415 Highland Avenue.

Private First Class Laurence J. Hagen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Hagen, 1415 Highland Avenue, has arrived in England.

He entered the service in March 1942 and received his training at Camp Butner; Lawson General Hospital, Atlanta, GA; and Camp Pickett, VA.

He is with the Medical Detachment.

Private First Class Hagen was graduated from St. Patrick's High School and attended the teachers college here.

Thomas Hagen has been promoted from Corporal to Sergeant in the Signal Corps at Fort Monmouth, NJ. Laurence Hagen has been promoted from Private First Class to Technician Fifth Grade in a medical detachment somewhere in Germany.

Sergeant Thomas Hagen has arrived in England, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hagen, 1415 Highland Avenue.

He received his training in the Signal Corps at Spry School, Chicago; Camp Crowder, MO; University of Missouri and Davis, CA; and Fort Monmouth, NJ.

He is a graduate of St. Patrick's High School and, before his enlistment, was a telegrapher for the Soo Line Railroad.

His brother, Corporal Laurence Hagen, is in Germany.
