Robert B. Hanson

Private First Class Robert B. Hanson has arrived in France, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Hanson of Boyceville, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Bennett, 943 Main Street.

He entered the service in January 1944 and enrolled in the ASTP at Fort Benning, GA. He was later transferred to the Infantry and received training at Camp Livingston, LA; Camp Callan, CA; and Camp San Luis Obispo, CA. Just before going overseas, he was awarded the Expert Infantryman's Badge.

Before entering the service, he was a student at Stout Institute, Menomonie.
