|Sgt. Wm. Harmon Is Killed in Action|
|Sergeant William Harmon, son of Roy Harmon, of Pixly, CA,
was killed in action on July 12 in Italy, where he was serving with an
Infantry regiment, according to word received by his sister-in-law, Mrs.
Stephan D. Harmon, of Strum.
Sergeant Harmon is a former resident of Eau Claire, leaving here about five years ago.
He is survived by his father and three sisters: Doris, Carolyn, and June, of Pixley, CA and three brothers: Leonard of Washington; Private Stephan, serving at a station hospital in Italy; and Robert, Petty Officer Third Class in the Navy.
