|William H. Havens|
|Private William H. Havens is spending a 21-day furlough with
his wife and daughter who reside at 620 Germania Street, and his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Havens, 1327 Green Bay Street, LaCrosse. He
served 30 months in the Aleutian Islands.
Private Havens entered the service in November 1941 and, after training at Camp Wallace, WA, went to the Aleutians in February 1942 with the Coast Artillery. He wears the Good Conduct Medal, the American Defense Ribbon, and the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations Ribbon.
He will report back to Camp Bowie, TX for reassignment.
