Lloyd A. Helgeson

AT MIAMI BEACH
Captain Neil G. Hoffman of Arkansaw and First Lieutenant Lloyd A. Helgeson of Woodville, who have returned from service outside the continental United States, are now being processed at the redistribution station at Miami Beach, where their next assignments will be determined.

Captain Hoffman, as a B-24 and B-25 bombardier, flew 30 missions during 15 months in Newfoundland and England, winning the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters.

Lieutenant Helgeson, a navigator, flew 53 missions during 11 months in the Southwest Pacific.
