Lieutenant William L. Jacobson, bombardier with the Army Air Corps, has arrived in India, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jacobson, 318 North 11th Street.

Lieutenant Jacobson entered the service on March 25, 1942.

 


RETURNS TO U.S.
First Lieutenant William L. Jacobson, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jacobson, 318 North Eleventh Street, who was a bombardier in the China-India-Burma Theater of War for 16 months, where he took part in 55 missions, has been returned to the United States. Lieutenant Jacobson, who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal, reported at Miami Beach where he will receive his next assignment.
