|CPL. LESLIE E. JAQUISH
Corporal Leslie E. Jaquish, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jaquish of Racine, formerly of Eau Claire, has arrived in the Hawaiian Islands, according to word received here by his sister, Mrs. Russell Burgess, 304 Ninth Avenue.
He enlisted in the Air Corps in February 1942 while a senior at Eau Claire High School.
Corporal Jaquish received his training at Washington, DC, where he graduated from radio school, then at Presque Isle, Maine and St. George Meade, Maryland.
He is a radio-technician in the Signal Corps.

Jaquish, this city, serving in an Infantry unit, is now somewhere in
Germany, according to word received by his parents.
He entered the service in June 1944 and, after 17 weeks of training at Camp Blanding, FL and Fort George Meade, MD, he left for overseas.
He had been employed by the Nash Kelvinator Company of Kenosha, prior to induction into the service.
Private Jacquish has a brother, Sergeant Leslie E. Jaquish, serving with a Radio Security Section, formerly in the Hawaiian Islands, is now somewhere in the South Pacific.
