Serve on the Seas or Overseas
WARREN JOHNSON ORVILLE JOHNSON
Warren Johnson, Seaman First Class, and Orville Johnson, Ship Fitter Second Class, sons of Mrs. Ruth Johnson, 205 1/2 North Barstow Street, are now serving on the seas, according to word received by their mother. 

Warren, serving on the Pacific, entered the service on September 5, 1942 and received his training at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, IL. 

Orville, serving on the Atlantic, entered the Navy on July 31, 1942 and also received his training at Great Lakes.


Fred R. (Bob) Johnson, Seaman First Class, son of Mrs. Ruth Johnson, 308 Wisconsin Street, has arrived in the British Isles, according to word received by his mother. He is with the Amphibious Forces. 

He entered the Navy on July 7, 1943 and received his training at Great Lakes, IL; Little Creek, VA; and Fort Pierce, FL. 

Two older brothers are serving with the Navy—Warren, Seaman First Class, somewhere in the Pacific; and Orville, Ship Fitter Second Class, in the Atlantic.
