Wilbert R. Johnson

Technical Sergeant Wilbert R. Johnson, whose wife, Roselyn, lives at 1421 Lyndale Avenue, has been cited by the 361st Infantry Regiment of the 91st "Powder River" Division and awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge for actual participation in combat against the enemy with the Fifth Army in Italy.

Technical Sergeant Wilbert R. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walfred Johnson, St. Paul, MN, has arrived in North Africa, according to word received by his wife, formerly Rosalyn Kierstad, this city. 

He entered the service in November 1942 and received his training at Camp White, OR and Camp Adair, OR. 

He is with a cannon company.
