Karl Kenyon

Second Lieutenant Karl Kenyon, son of Mrs. Alice Kenyon, 540 Maxon Street, has arrived somewhere in eastern Africa, according to word received by his mother. He is with the Air Transport Command.

Lieutenant Kenyon enlisted in the Air Corps on August 8, 1940 and was an Aviation Mechanic, before being appointed a cadet. He received his flight training at Scott Field, IL; Santa Ana, CA; and Presque Isle, ME.

He received his silver wings and commission in the Army Air Corps early last spring.
