Herman Klossner

Reported Missing in Hungarian Raid
Lieutenant Herbert Klossner has been reported missing in action over Hungary, since August 23, according to word received from the War Department by his mother, Mrs. Emma Klossner of Minneapolis, formerly of Eau Claire.

Lieutenant Klossner was commissioned April 8 of this year, when he graduated from the Army Air Forces Navigation School at Selma Field, LA. He was sent overseas immediately and had been stationed in Italy.

He has three brothers in the service: Corporal Herman Klossner in an Army hospital, after returning from New Guinea; Sergeant Fred Klossner at Miami Beach, Fl; and Staff Sergeant Ernest Klossner in England.
