|Two sons of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kolden, Osseo,
are now serving overseas.
Technician Fifth Grade Eddie J. Kolden has arrived in France. He entered the service in May 1942 and received his training at Camp Shelby, MS; Camp Claiborne, LA; Shreveport, LA; and Camp Howze, TX. He has received the Good Conduct Medal.
His brother, Private First Class Glen T. Kolden, has arrived in England. He entered the service in October 1941 and received his training at Camp Wolters, Texas and Fort Lewis, WA. From there, he was sent to Alaska, where he spent 25 months on the Aleutian Islands. He had his first furlough in June 1944 and was sent overseas, after further training at Camp Shelby, MS and Camp McCoy.
The Kolden brothers are both in the Infantry.
