E. W. Krause, Carpenter's Mate, First Class, son of Gust Krause, 1327 Pershing Street, has arrived somewhere in the Pacific, according to word received here.
He enlisted in the Seabees in August 1943, received his boot training at Camp Perry, VA; was home on leave for 10 days during the latter part of October, after which he was sent to Camp Thomas, Davisville, RI for advance training.

E. W. Krause, Carpenter's Mate First Class of the Seabees, has returned to his base in Bermuda, after spending a 15-day emergency leave here. He was called home because of the death of his father, Gust Krause.
The trip was made in 33 hours, from Bermuda by plane to Cincinnati; then by train to Eau Claire.
Krause had previously served in the Pacific Theater of War.
