Alex W. Krenz

After arriving in England in March last, Corporal Alex Krenz has been transferred to France, according to word received by his sister, Mrs. Clyde Dresel, of this city.

Corporal Krenz was married here on January 31 to Miss Dorothy Nelker of Kramer, ND.

One brother has been missing over Italy since February 16.

Mrs. Clyde Dresel, 922 Chauncey Street, has received word that her brother, Private Carl E. Krenz, in the U. S. Infantry, has been missing in action in Italy since February 16. He was wounded a few months ago and was awarded the Purple Heart. He recently had returned to active duty.

Private Krenz was the bugler at Camp Edwards, MA, where he received his training.

He has one brother in the service, Corporal Alex W. Krenz, address unknown, and two brothers honorably discharged, Corporal Reinhard E. Krenz, who served in the state of Washington and at the Army Air Field, Scott Field, IL, and Gerhard G. Krenz, who was at the Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, IL.

Private Carl E. Krenz is the youngest son of Mrs. Christian Krenz of Kramer, ND.
