Three Receive Wings in Army Air Corps 

Three from this vicinity have won their wings as pilots in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Second Lieutenant Jerry R. Kyle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Kyle, Downsville, and husband of Mrs. Carol S. Kyle, Elmwood, received his advanced training at Brooks Field, TX and received his commission on December 23.

Second Lieutenant Chester T. Knight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester C. Knight, Route 2, Eau Claire, also received his wings and commission at Brooks Field, Texas on December 23.

Flight Officer Wallace R. Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Lee, 416 Babcock Street, received his appointment and wings at Selman Field, Monro, PA as an Aerial Navigator on December 23.
