|Chief Warrant Officer Roger LaMuska, son of Mr. and Mrs.
J. P. LaMuska, 815 Plum Street, will leave today with his wife and
16-month-old son for Robins Field, Georgia, after spending his first
leave at home in more than four years of Army service.
He enlisted in the Army Air Forces on October 11, 1939 and trained at Fort Sheridan, Fort Lewis, Camp Ord, Fort Lawton, March Field, Curtis-Wright Field, Fresno, CA and Walla Walla, WA, passing through non-commissioned grades as an airplane mechanic.
In November 1942, he was made a Warrant Officer and served in Florida and South Carolina, before going to England, where he saw eight months of service. He was appointed a Chief Warrant Officer in England on September 7, 1943.
Since his return from England, he has been stationed at Fort Slocum, Miami Beach, FL and Tinker Field, Oklahoma City. Robins Field is a new post.
Chief Warrant Officer Roger LaMuska has a brother serving with an Engineers Aviation Battalion somewhere in India. He is Warrant Office (jg) Howard D. La Muska. He enlisted in the Army on April 8, 1941 and received training at McChord Field, WA.
