Third Class, has arrived
somewhere in the South Pacific, according to word received by his wife.
He entered the service on November 11, 1942 and has been in active duty the past eight months. He received his boot training at Great Lakes, IL and also graduated from the Hadley Technician School at St. Louis, MO, after a four-month schooling.
He has a brother, Sergeant Alvin N. Larson, an Aerial Engineer in the Army Air Corps, located at Townsend, GA. He enlisted on March 2, 1942.
The Larson brothers are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Larson, 907 Forest Street. They both are graduates of the Eau Claire High School and were employed at the Eau Claire Press Company before entering the service.
