Wed at First Baptist
At a candlelight service at First Baptist Church, Miss Jean Waterpool, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace W. Waterpool, became the bride of Staff Sergeant Harold W. Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Larson, all of this city. The wedding took place at 8 o'clock Friday, February 11. The marriage vows were read by Reverend M. R. Siemens.

The wedding music preceding and during the ceremony was played by Mrs. Loren Bridges. Miss Joy Elliott sang Because.

The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, who gave her in marriage. Her gown was of white satin with an overskirt of white celanese. She wore a fingertip veil, edged with lace, held by a crown of seed pearls. Her bridal bouquet was of pink roses and white carnations.

The attendants of the bride were the sister of the groom, Mrs. Richard Lee, as matron of honor, and Miss Beatrice Shaw, cousin of the bride. They wore similar dresses of taffeta in shades of blue and pink. Their colonial bouquets were of pink roses, white carnation, and jonquils. The little flower girl, Jane Waterpool, cousin of the bride, was dressed in pink taffeta with an overskirt of pink net and carried a colonial basket of roses, snapdragons, and jonquils.

The groom was attended by his brother-in-law, Richard Lee, as best man, and his brother, Russell Larson. Ushers were Rodrick Larson, Jack Waterpool, and Arthur Geske.

A reception was held in the church annex immediately after the ceremony. After a short honeymoon, the groom returned to his present duty station with the Army Air Forces at Bruning, NE. For the present, the bride will remain with her parents in Eau Claire.
