James S. Larson

Master Sergeant James S. Larson, Fifth Ordnance M Company, son of Mr. and Mrs. Selmer Larson of Strum, writes that he is somewhere in Luxembourg in the Third Army.

He enlisted in June 1940 and went overseas in May 1941, landing in Iceland. He was then transferred to Ireland and, from there, to France.

The Sergeant trained with an Anti-Aircraft Battalion at Camp Stewart, GA and then was transferred to the Infantry, while at Camp Howze, TX, before going overseas.
