HOWARD E. LEE
Howard E. Lee, Seaman Second Class, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee, 1627 Badger Avenue, is now serving somewhere in the Pacific.

He enlisted in the Navy Reserve on September 20, 1943.  He received his training at the Great Lakes Training Station and Camp Shoemaker, CA.  

He was home on furlough at Thanksgiving time.


PROMOTED
Howard E. Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee, 1627 Badger Avenue, has been promoted to Seaman First Class.  He received his boot training at Great Lakes Naval Training Station and was transferred from there to Shoemaker, CA.  For the past year he has been serving on the USS Saratoga somewhere in the Pacific.

Howard E. Lee, Seaman First Class, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee, 1627 Badger Avenue, underwent an emergency operation for appendicitis Monday morning at Sacred Heart Hospital. He is on a 27-day leave from the South Pacific.
